The brochure published in 1929 stated "to appeal to the person who is dissatisfied with maintaining large residence in the suburban districts". This describes perfectly this couple who relocated from the suburbs to this classic urban retreat on First Hill. GHI and the client crafted a chic revamp that brings the past and the present together and establishing a carefree life style that would enable them to travel at a whim.
