Palm Spring Ranch 

Located in Smoke Tree this environmentally sustainable ranch house was designed by Susanne Zahr and interiors by Gary Henderson Interiors.  The house opens up toward the sweeping mountain views on the south.  The home was designed toward Leed-H Silver Certification by incorporating thermal mass walls and floors into the design, and by the use of environmentally friendly products such as Green Seal paint, recycled glass counter tops and low VOC adhesives.  Appliances and plumbing fixtures are all Energy Star rated.  Published in Palms Springs Life "Bionic Houses".
